How much does chartering the smallest boat on Lake Thun cost? What options do I have on Lake Brienz? With the price list for boat charter you have an overview of the available boats on both lakes and receive further relevant information in connection with chartering a boat.
All prices are listed in CHF including VAT. The minimum rental period or the basic rental is 2 hours in each case. On Fridays and Saturdays there is a surcharge of 10% on the total amount.
Technical facilities
Depending on the equipment of the ship, a microphone and audio system, a CD player, MP3 connection and/or a screen are available free of charge. For details, please refer to the respective boat detail pages.
Table decoration
On charter cruises, the tables are set with white tablecloths as standard. Our catering partners will be happy to organise decorations such as flower arrangements and menu cards on request.
Bar tables
On request, our catering partner Schiffcatering Lake Thun and Lake Brienz will be happy to organise the bar tables you require. Cost per bar table: CHF 25.- (excl. partial clearing).
Complete or partial clearance of the boat
On request and if logistically feasible, we will clear away tables and chairs for you. For this we charge you CHF 79.- per hour and staff. The number of staff hours depends on the size of the boat.
Door entry
Your extra boat is normally ready for boarding ten minutes before the agreed departure time. If this time overlaps with the arrival or departure of a scheduled boat, the scheduled boats have priority. The arrival or departure of your extra trip will be slightly delayed as a result.
Extensions/storage at the pier
For idle storage times (e.g. for set-up work or rental extensions for the start or end of an event), a idle storage price per hour will be charged. The surcharges can be found on our «Boat charter price list».
Empty trips
The rental prices for our boats are calculated with the starting and ending point Interlaken Ost (for Lake Brienz) or Thun (for Lake Thun). Empty journeys to/from the embarkation or disembarkation pier are charged additionally. The surcharges can be found on our «Boat charter price list».
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in enclosed areas on our boats. Smoking is permitted on the open decks.
Self-catering
Schiffcatering Thuner- und Brienzersee is the sole catering partner of BLS Navigation. Self-catering is possible, subject to reservation, on extra trips with payment of a turnover compensation to Schiffcatering. However, we are convinced that our extensive range of catering services can also meet your requirements.
