All children from the age of 6 up to their 16th birthday, accompanied by an adult, are allowed to sail on Lake Thun and Lake Brienz free of charge for the whole day every Saturday.
Valid on all scheduled services, not including special trips.
Free of charge on your birthday
Birthday gift for you
On your birthday you may travel free of charge on all regularly scheduled cruises on Lakes Thun and Brienz. Show your identity card at the boat landing stage and you'll get a 1st class 1-day ticket for Lakes Thun and Brienz. Special trips are not included.

Are special tickets available for birthdays?
On your birthday, you travel free of charge all day in 1st class on all scheduled services. You can obtain your free day ticket for Lakes Thun and Brienz on presentation of your identity card or passport at our sales points and on our boats.
Are discounts offered to children and seniors?
Children under the age of 6 travel for free, while children aged 6 - 15 years only have to pay half-price. The Junior travelcard and Children’s Co-travelcard (for children aged 6 - 15 years) are valid on all scheduled cruises.
No discounts are available to seniors.
Are special day tickets available?
With the BLS Navigation day ticket, you can travel as much as you want on any of our scheduled cruises on Lake Thun and Lake Brienz.
