Additional information
- The Seepass is personal and non-transferable (only the buyer is registered on the Seepass).
- The children (ONE and FLEX) and the accompanying person or dog (FLEX) can be exchanged at any time. However, they can only travel free of charge if the person registered on the Seepass is on board.
- The Seepass is intended for use by people only and cannot be purchased for dogs.
- The Seepass is not valid on trains and buses.

The Seepass options in detail
Seepass ONE from CHF 159.00
The Seepass ONE is valid for one adult and entitles up to 4 children up to the age of 15.99 to travel free of charge. The children are not registered.
Seepass FLEX from CHF 349.00
The Seepass FLEX is valid for one adult, 4 children up to the age of 15.99 and one flexible accompanying person or dog. Whether partner, family, friend or beloved four-legged friend - you can decide who accompanies you on each trip. Only the buyer is registered on the Seepass.
Information about the subscription model
The seamless subscription model saves you time and effort: your Seepass is automatically renewed, so you no longer have to worry about annual renewals.
When you purchase a Seepass subscription, you enter into an open-ended contract and the automatic renewal can be cancelled at any time.
Both the Seepass ONE and the Seepass FLEX can be purchased with or without a subscription. The subscription model is available exclusively online until 17 March 2026.
Payment information: The Seepass under the subscription model can only be paid with a valid credit card (including 3-D Secure).

Frequently asked questions about the Seepass
How can I order and pay for the Seepass?
The Seepass is only available in advance from 11.11.2025 to 17.03.2026.
The Seepass can be purchased online via the ticket shop. If you have any questions or queries, please contact the Travel Centre Shipping by e-mail (schiff@bls.ch) or by telephone (+41 58 327 48 11).

It is not possible to order on account.
The Seepass subscription model requires a new registration in the BLS Schifffahrt webshop. It is not possible to log in with the Swiss Pass customer account.
The details on my seepass are incorrect. What do I have to do?
If your personal details on the Seepass are incorrect (surname, first name, date of birth), please notify us as soon as possible. If you have already received your Seepass, please return the Seepass to us with the incorrect details (BLS Schifffahrt AG, Lachenweg 19, 3604 Thun). We will accept adjustments free of charge until the closing date of 17.03.2026.
Is it possible to download the Seepass onto the BLS App or the Swiss Pass?
No, it is currently not possible to load the Seepass onto the BLS App or the Swiss Pass.
Can I change my name or the names of other beneficiaries during the year?
Yes, if there is a change of name during the year of validity (e.g. due to marriage), this is possible once a year. A fee of CHF 30.00 will be charged for the creation of a new Seepass.
Why can't I pay with my credit card in the webshop?
The BLS Schifffahrt webshop requires 3D authentication when paying by credit card. If you have problems with authentication, please contact your bank. You can find more information about 3D Secure here: 3-D Secure | Viseca Card Services.
Is there a dog «Seepass»?
There is no dog «Seepass». You can travel with your dog as your companion with the «Seepass» FLEX or the Switzerland-wide Dog Pass (available at all railroad stations but not available at BLS Lake Cruise). Alternatively, dog day tickets for the boat (CHF 15.-) can also be purchased. The Dog Pass for the lake is no longer available.
Which payment method is stored for my Seepass subscription?
In your personal login under My Account / Account Settings / Subscriptions, you can view the stored payment method.
My Seepass order doesn’t work – what should I do?
If you order the Seepass on your mobile phone, you need to return to the shop page after completing the payment so that the order is finalized. We recommend placing the order on a computer.
My Seepass could not be renewed automatically – what should I do?
The stored payment method is no longer valid and could not be charged. Therefore, the automatic renewal was stopped. For the upcoming season, please purchase a new Seepass here. The subscription cannot be reactivated.
Can I change the payment method stored in the webshop?
Currently, it is not possible to change the stored payment method due to technical reasons.
