Travelling to the Giessbach falls by boat is a unique experience and the easiest way to get to the famous Grandhotel. From the pretty Giessbach boat station, take the historical funicular up to the Grandhotel Giessbach. As soon as you enter the Grandhotel, you will find yourself in a world of unique splendour and elegant sophistication. It embodies the romance and charm of past glorious times.

Important information
- The offer is available only as a single ticket and is bookable for up to 9 people. Groups of 10 or more should contact the Grandhotel Giessbach directly.
- For lunch at the Grandhotel Giessbach, a table reservation by email or phone (+41 33 952 25 25) is also required.
- An additional ticket is required to pass through the Giessbach cable car turnstile. You can obtain this directly from the kiosk at the Giessbach station on presentation of your combined ticket.

Experience the beautiful nature surrounding the Grandhotel on various walking and hiking trails – the circular trail to the waterfall, for example, or the path to the lake. Travel relaxed by train to Interlaken Ost. From Interlaken Ost railway station it is a 4-minute walk to the Interlaken Ost boat station. The boat station is opposite the station.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I buy tickets?
In spring, summer and autumn, all tickets and combination tickets are available on our boats and at the stations in Thun, Spiez, Interlaken West and Interlaken Ost as well as Brienz. During the winter months the stations remain closed. On Lake Brienz, navigation is suspended during the winter.

Our boats travel all year on Lake Thun. We do not operate our cruises on Lake Brienz during the winter months.
